Business Relocation

The City of Kingston provides comprehensive service to businesses looking to expand or relocate. Available assistance includes preliminary site and building availability, financial support through a number of revolving loan funds available through the Kingston Local Development Corporation, and assistance with navigating through the municipal processes. Additional support is also available from the Empire Zone, a New York State program that provides tax credits for businesses.

Serving as the focal point for business assistance activity, a team of professionals staffs the Department of Economic and Community Development located in City Hall. The Kingston/Ulster Empire Zone which is administered out of the same office is available and an additional incentive.
