Issued September 1th, 2021
Based on the information presented by the CDC, State and most recently, the County Health Department, the City of Kingston joins with the County to strongly recommend that both vaccinated and non-vaccinated individuals wear a mask indoors in public places and when around others outside of your family when indoors until the rate of community transmission is reduced.
Therefore, I, Steven T. Noble, Mayor of the City of Kingston, by the power vested in me by the Charter of the City of Kingston declare:
Mask or equivalent face-coverings are required to be worn indoors at all City of Kingston buildings and offices effective Thursday, September 2nd, 2021. This will apply to all visitors to all buildings and offices, as well as all employees when they are interacting with the public or within six feet of coworkers.
