Mayor Noble Announces 55th Annual Children’s Day Parade to Be Held on July 11, 2025
Registration Now Open!
KINGSTON, NY – Mayor Steven T. Noble and the City of Kingston Parks and Recreation Department are pleased to announce the 55th Annual Children’s Day Parade will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025. The theme this year is Sports Movies.

“The Children’s Day Parade is a beloved Kingston tradition that our community looks forward to every year. We are proud to once again host this wonderful event, and look forward to seeing our kids and families come out, celebrate together, and enjoy this opportunity to show their creativity,” said Mayor Noble.
Lynsey Timbrouck, Director of the Kingston Parks and Recreation Department said, “The Parks and Recreation Department is excited to present the 55th Children’s Day Parade for our community! We hope all participants enjoy designing their floats with this year’s theme of Sports Movies and look forward to seeing the fun and creative concepts that everyone comes up with.”
Parade Route
The parade will step off Pine Grove Avenue onto Broadway at 6:00pm. The parade will proceed up Broadway and onto Albany Avenue, make a right turn onto Clinton Avenue and then another right turn onto Westbrook Lane. Floats and units will then continue down Westbrook Lane, pass the Herzog’s lumberyard, and will take the next left towards the back of Herzog’s store.
My Kingston Kids will host a carnival at Kingston Plaza directly following the parade, which will feature a gaming trailer, virtual reality tent, inflatable laser tag arena, archery, and Imagine Park, the largest inflatable obstacle course in the Hudson Valley.
