Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 25, 2026
KINGSTON, NY – Mayor Steven T. Noble and the Kingston Veterans Association wish to inform the public of that the annual Memorial Day ceremony will be held on the lawn at Kingston City Hall on Monday, May 25, 2026, at 1:00pm.
Mayor Noble said, “We are honored to pay tribute to our fallen heroes with an event at City Hall on Monday. Memorial Day is a wonderful opportunity to honor the men and women who gave their lives for our Country, and to pay our respects to all those who have served. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.”
During the Memorial Day ceremony, Broadway between W. O’Reilly and Andrews Streets will be closed to traffic.
On Friday, May 22, the City of Kingston and the Kingston Veterans Association will rededicate the war memorial at Clifton Ave and Highland Avenue in a ceremony at 1:00pm, alongside City staff and others who helped to refurbish the monument.

City offices will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. Trash and recycling will not be picked up on Monday and will be delayed one day next week.
