Kingston Point Beach Opening June 20,
Andretta Pool Opening June 27
KINGSTON, NY – Mayor Steven T. Noble and the Parks and Recreation Department are pleased to announce that Kingston Point Beach will officially open on Saturday, June 20, 2026, and Andretta Pool will open Saturday, June 27, 2026.
Kingston Point Beach will be open five days a week, Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00am-4:45pm, weather permitting and only when lifeguards are on duty.
The Andretta Pool will be open to the public starting on Saturday, June 27, and will be open Wednesdays through Sundays (times vary each day, see attached schedule). Mondays and Tuesdays are closed for summer camp swim days. There will be no entry fee for the pool.
Mayor Noble said, “We are excited to open the beach and pool for everyone to enjoy this summer. We are pleased to be able to offer both the pool and beach free of charge for Kingston residents again this year. We hope everyone will take advantage of the City’s amenities and enjoy a safe swimming season.”
Lynsey Timbrouck, Director of Parks and Recreation said, “Our department has been working tirelessly to prepare for the upcoming swimming season here in Kingston. We urge everyone to practice safe and healthy measures when visiting our beach and pool. Parks and Recreation is wishing the community a wonderful summer!”

Please note that, due to the proximity to the swimming area, motorized boat launches from the ramp at Kingston Point Beach are no longer permitted.
