The City expects to realize substantial cost savings by replacing hundreds of incandescent bulbs throughout the building with LEDs.

Project Goals |
Execute two two energy efficiency projects in the historic City Hall building:
1) Install removable window insert sheets for 145 windows, which cost a fraction of the cost of replacement while providing comparable insulation and energy savings.
2) Retrofit 320 lights to light emitting diodes (LEDs) based on the recommendations of a full lighting audit.

LED lighting upgrade has been completed. The low bidder for the window inserts is Climate Seal. Construction has begun, and final implementation is expected in the fall of 2019. |
